C-SPAN Online C-SPAN is a public organization created by America's Cable Television Companies. For readers, this site is mostly a promotional vehicle. For listeners, however, it's golden. This is the NYT's politics section, in their free (but subscription) daily edition. The daily paper is searchable for free as well, but the site lacks an archive. Includes Political Points: a guide to political sites on the Net.
PoliticsNow PoliticsNow is a joint venture of ABC News, the National Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and Newsweek, with up-to-the-minute reports on state and national politics. Check out their Briefing Book for a quick summary of what you need to know daily. Their outside resources section is weak, however. This is a subscription service.
