Families Against Internet Censorship
Families Against Internet Censorship is a coalition of hundreds of American families that oppose the CDA. Barry and Michele Fagin started the group, as documented in "Internet Family Values," Wired 4.08, with the belief that "parents are the people best suited to decide what their children should and should not see." The Fagins' site contains news on the CDA, information on how to add your family to the group, and links to online filtering software.

Family Research Council
Besides the Department of Justice and Janet Reno, the Family Research Council is one of the major players promoting the CDA. With their stated agenda as pro-family, the FRC does work in other arenas to fight against abortion, gay rights, sex education, and certain immigrant rights.
